DMCA Notice & Takedown Policy

Last updated: May 26, 2026

Our Commitment

Watch JoJo ("we", "us", "watchjojo.com") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users and content partners to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512, we will respond promptly to valid notices of claimed copyright infringement.

Important: Embedded YouTube Content

Watch JoJo curates and embeds publicly available videos hosted on YouTube using YouTube's official embed player. We do not host, store, or re-upload any video files on our servers. If you are the rights holder of a YouTube video embedded on our site:

  • The most effective remedy is to submit a takedown request directly to YouTube via youtube.com/copyright_complaint_form. Once YouTube removes or restricts the video, the embed on our site will stop playing automatically.
  • You may also send us a DMCA notice (see below) and we will remove the embed from our site, typically within 48 hours of receipt.

How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice

To file a notice of claimed copyright infringement, send a written notification to our Designated Agent (see contact below) that includes all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (e.g., original video title, URL, or registration number).
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it — ideally the full URL on watchjojo.com (e.g., https://watchjojo.com/watch/XXXXXXX).
  4. Your contact information — full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

Designated Copyright Agent

Please send all DMCA notices to our Designated Agent via the contact form (preferred for fastest response) or by email:

Please include "DMCA Takedown Notice" in the subject line so it can be routed correctly.

Counter-Notice

If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the district where you live (or, if outside the U.S., for any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice.

Repeat Infringer Policy

It is our policy, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, to disable and/or terminate accounts of users or content partners who are repeat infringers.

Misrepresentations

Please note: under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. If you are unsure whether material on the site is infringing, please consult an attorney before filing a notice.
